HAHAHAH!

Wednesday, June 11, 2003

Biting the end of my pen cap, thinking

Staring off in space, with a thought filled mind.

Memories taking me, I am sinking.

For they are about what I left behind.

Smiles, laughs, always the little things.

Life taking over, changing our ways.

Controlling us like puppets on strings.

Having the sudden urge to count the days.

Until I get to see you next, but when?

Time creeps by crawls at unsteady pace.

Is there a chance that I'll see you again?

I need to see that smile on your face.

Your perfect beauty prances through my mind.

How could your kindred soul be so unkind?

That's my sonnet that Amy R. supplied four lines to. She's a goddess. She's so worthy of the goddess status, because she wrote an awesome poem in less than a minute. Here's the poem.

Have you ever noticed how the clouds go by?

Soft white tufts of air floating through the hazy colored sky.

Effortlessly they fly along against a robe of crystal blue

Wishing I could bob along with them, don't you?

I'm forcing her to supply me with weekly poetry. Eventually, everyone will be slaves to this magazine. Mwahahaha.

I'm done.

I'm still looking for something to write about.

I was talking to Lori about AP English for next year, and I'm in a world of hurt. She said that half the classes drop/fail out in the first semester, and nobody knows what's going on. Every night you have to write two pages in a journal about what you did in class that day. Ugh.

At least it should help me with my writing ability.

I really want to write something that seems like I spent a lot of time on it, and sounds poetic when you read it, but not really a poem.

I need a topic. Someone help me.

Today was the last day of classes. I'm so happy, but it didn't feel like it was the last of it.

Maybe Finals will make it official that summer is almost here, once we get rid of this April weather. It's freaking June and we're lucky if we get one day of sun shine.
